To continue our commitment to provide a high quality service we cannot continue bulk-billing many of our consultations.
When you are bulk-billed, the government only pays the doctor the Medicare rebate. This is less than half of the current consultation fee for the same service.
This is making it difficult to maintain a quality service with good staff and doctors spending time with you.
Unfortunately we have had to make the decision that all consults will now receive a bill including children (except for childhood immunisations)
The Medicare rebate amount is now refunded back into your account within minutes of paying your account.
