“Dr Florian Mutzke (FRACGP, PhD, MBBS-Germany) studied medicine in Berlin and did five years of post graduate GP training in Germany and Australia. He met his wife while working as a resident at Fremantle Hospital in 2008. He has worked as a GP for 10 years in Germany, Switzerland and rural Australia.
Dr Florian is passionate about the breadth of GP work and continuity of care across generations. He has a special interest in lifestyle medicine. Diet, exercise and mental wellbeing can affect and improve our physical health profoundly often avoiding the need for pharmaceutical treatment. He is experienced in aged and complex medical care and paediatrics.
Florian has gained additional qualifications in skin cancer medicine (University of Queensland) and does skin checks, skin cancer removal and minor surgery. He offers iron infusions and nursing home visits.
After work he is busy with his two (soon to be three!) young children, has so far failed to swim to Rottnest and is a terrible but enthusiastic surfer.”
